Alexander Tounkara, Managing Partner

Alexander is the Founder and Managing Partner of AGI, where he guides the firm's strategic vision.Alexander founded AGI while completing his MBA. Prior to his MBA, Alexander worked as an investment manager for an Africa focused agriculture PE firm. Prior to that, he worked for the asset management arm of a leading European national pension fund, worked in corporate finance at a large multinational oil services company, and played American football professionally.Alexander has a B.A. in Economics from Brown University, an MAP from INSEAD, as well as an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He currently lives in the Netherlands, and enjoys music, nature documentaries, and is passionate about African economic development.
Austin Madden, Managing Director

Austin is a Managing Director at AGI, where he oversees both firm and portfolio company operations.Austin joined AGI, while pursuing his MBA. Prior to his MBA Austin served as a United States Marine Officer, where he deployed to Southeast Asia and the Middle East specializing in advising partner nations in tactical training, logistics and administrative functions, and combat operations. Austin has also worked at Goldman Sachs in Consumer and Wealth Management and launched two logistics companies.Austin has a BS in Information Technology from the United States Naval Academy and an MBA in Business Analytics and Entrepreneurship from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He currently lives in New York, NY, and enjoys cooking, cycling, and volunteering with local veteran organizations.
Jeffrey Izon, Vice President, Finance

Jeffrey is a Vice President at AGI, where he guides the firm's financial analysis, due diligence, and execution.Prior to AGI, Jeffrey worked at ICM Partners in Business Development, leading ICM's development and implementation of strategic initiatives, ultimately culminating in the firm's one-third stake sale to a private equity firm.
Jeffrey started his career at J.P. Morgan in the Real Estate Investment Banking group, where he executed mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity underwriting, as well as strategic development initiatives across the real estate industry for four years.Jeffrey has a BA in Business Economics and a BA in Environmental Studies from Brown University, as well as an MS in Management from Wake Forest University Babcock School of Management. He currently lives in Los Angeles, CA, and enjoys outdoor sports, reading, and volunteering with food distribution ministries and foster care initiatives.
Ibeabuchi Oteh, Director of Legal Structuring

Ibeabuchi is the Legal Structuring Manager where he guides the firm's legal operations and fund structuring process.Ibeabuchi is a J.D. with experience in commercial M&A, intellectual property transactions & licensing, and fund structure research. Prior to joining Alexander Gabriel International, Ibeabuchi worked as an associate at Fenwick & West LLP in their technology transactions group where he managed large company M&A deals and small - mid sized company licensing matters.Ibeabuchi is the youngest of 7 kids and he enjoys spending time with family, hosting & producing podcasts, playing chess, cooking, kickboxing, and staying up-to-date on the latest innovations in the technology industry. Ibeabuchi has a B.A. in Economics from Brown University, an M.A. in Education Policy from Loyola Marymount University and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law school. He lives in St. Louis, MO.
